“Information update,” begins Sarah. “Carla is still untraceable since falling into the Einstein-Rosen bridge. I calculate an 87% probability that Carla has left our universe. This mission is now designated Operation 404. Use every means necessary to bring Carla back. Cheat if you have to!”
You stare for a moment in shock, then the realisation hits. “No! No! How can we find Carla if they’re not even in this universe? We can’t even sight a map! I’m sure the clues are staring me in the face but I…” You kick the floor and take a shuddering breath, annoyed. “I don’t believe this! We had a date planned and…” You shut your mouth. You have to keep professional for the Solar Alliance, but you just can’t believe it. Honestly! The things aliens do to avoid having a date with you!
“I received a piece of telepathic communication from Carla as she disappeared, but it is incomplete,” says Sarah. “I do not understand the reference.”

“Interesting,” says Sarah. “Analysing the telemetry and considering the factor of time travel I have been able to locate a possible zone. Earth in your year of 2023, though Carla could be anywhere on the planet. I can flash you back to that time period, if you wish.
“I understand,” you say, struggling to remember something about 2023.
“You won’t be able to use a game plan or normal decision making to find them,” Sarah continues. “You will need to rely on your intuition.”
